The Friendship Centers' Legacy Society was formed in 2002 to provide an opportunity for dedicated supporters to leave a gift that will contribute to a healthier future for older adults for generations to come. The Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have generously included Friendship Centers in their estate planning. This may be done through a will, trust or other planned gift, and may be in any amount. Submitting a form to the Development Office, indicating that the Friendship Centers are mentioned in your will or trust or other estate, qualifies you as a member of this elite group of supporters. The Legacy Society also automatically recognizes individuals who have given more than $30,000 cumulatively over the years, as transformational members.
Members of the Legacy Society are honored at an annual Legacy Reception, and receive invitations to other major events throughout the year. As a member of the Legacy Society you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are a supporting an organization which makes a difference every day in the lives of older adults in the communities we serve.
The Friendship Centers accept many other types of gifts and options for donations. Before you make an important decision like this, be sure to discuss your philanthropy with your family and financial advisers. Your gift can be overall benefit of the Friendship Centers, or you can restrict to to a specific program.
