Adult Day Care Services

The Living Rooms Adult Day Services provide a safe environment for loved ones who are frail, or have Alzheimer's or other memory impairment. Your loved one can have fun, enjoy companionship and participate in programs and activities while you have time to care for yourself.

Centers for Healthy Aging Medical & Dental Clinics

The Centers for Healthy Aging Medical and Dental Clinics provide health care to adults age 55 and older (50 and older in Collier and Lee Counties) who have limited incomes or are uninsured. Our clinics are staffed by retired and volunteer physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and health professionals who enjoy practicing for the sheer love of medicine.

Elder Helpline

Elder Helpline: Toll Free 866.413.5337  Call this number for information on home and community-based services through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging of Southwest Florida.  The Elder Helpline is your starting point to access federal or state funded programs and services offered through The Friendship Centers in the communities we serve. This nationwide network conducts preliminary interviews needed to connect people needing services to providers.

Friendship at Home

Friendship at Home matches caring volunteers with isolated seniors through Telephone Reassurance, Friendly Visitor and Supportive Intervention programs. Volunteers are offered orientation. training and continuing education classes, before being paired with clients according to interests and schedules. Professional support is provided to answer volunteer questions.

Friendship Cafés

Nutritious, healthy food is provided at The Friendship Cafés to people 60+. Friendly atmosphere, often with live entertainment bring people together. Come early to play cards, games and socialize.

Home Delivered Meals

Nutritious meals delivered to your door can make all the difference in the world if you become unable to cook for yourself or if you simply want to be assured of a healthy meal. Home delivered meals are a good way to ensure that a loved one is receiving nutritious meals on a regular basis. Meals are delivered daily, Monday through Friday.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

RSVP -- the Retired Senior Volunteer Program -- connects volunteers age 55 and over with service opportunities which utilize their skills, talents, and experiences to meet a wide range of community challenges. With nearly 500,000 volunteers across the country, RSVP is America’s largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over. RSVP offers a full range of volunteer opportunities with thousands of local and national organizations.

Social Services & Case Management

Helping older adults live independently in their own homes for as long as possible is the focus of Senior Friendship Centers' Social Services and Case Management. Case Managers match service options available through programs funded at the State and Federal levels to help clients receive the care they need.

Senior Friendship Centers' volunteers serve in nearly every aspect of this organization, and make possible an umbrella of programs and services that include health and wellness and supportive aging services.
