Nutritious meals delivered to your door can make all the difference in the world if you become unable to cook for yourself or if you simply want to be assured of a healthy meal.

Sarasota County Friendship Meals on Wheels is a good option for distance caregivers who have a parent or loved one who would benefit from receiving well-balanced meals on a regular basis. This program can also be especially helpful to persons who have just been released from the hospital and are unable to cook for themselves, or people who simply need good nutrition but are unable to cook for themselves. 

Meals are delivered daily, Monday through Friday, based on our drivers' schedules. For menus, click here.

Meals cost $5 per person or $7.50 for two meals delivered to the same address. Homebound individuals 60+ receiving case management services can receive meals through this program without charge or for a nominal donation.
