Venice Friendship Center Yearbook Launch Party Oct. 10
Remember your senior yearbook -- the people, places and things that made youth such a special time of life? Fast forward to The Venice Friendship Center’s 2013/14 Yearbook, fresh off the presses. It captures the fond memories of Friendship that today’s “seniors” now age 50+ - enjoy.  Join  us for the Yearbook Launch Party on Friday, Oct. 10, at 12:30 p.m. at the Center, 2350 Scenic Drive. 

The Southwest Florida Youth Symphony will present "Music Assisting the Generations" on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. at the Heights Center, 15570 Hagie Drive, Fort Myers. Birds Do it, Bees Do It...and so does Grandma: Straight Talk about Later-Life  Sexuality
Birds do it, Bees do it...and so Does Grandma is a candid, straight-talking series addressing senior sexuality in all its colors —the challenges, the disappointments, and the surprises, as well as the delights and the love stories. Slated Sept 15 -19 at The Friendship Center (1888 Brother Geenen Way) in Sarasota, each of the sessions will be from 10 - 11 a.m.

The North Sarasota County Caregiver Resource Center Advisory Committee will host "Join the Conversation," an opportunity to meet others who may be helping to care for a friend or loved one, and to learn about support in the community.  It will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at the North Sarasota Library, from 5:30 - 7:15.
