 Wells Fargo Foundation and Michael Saunders Foundation Offer $11,000 in Grants to Support Aging Mastery Program®
The Friendship Centers, a non-profit organization serving older adults in Southwest Florida for more than 40 years, has received a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation and a $1,000 grant from the Michael Saunders & Company Foundation (MSC Foundation) to again offer the Aging Mastery Program®.

The Patterson Foundation gave more than $310,000 to match investments made toward earned-income plans developed by the nonprofits participating in its Margin & Mission Ignition initiative — generating a total investment of nearly $870,000. The match strengthened the organizations’ fundraising efforts for startup and growth capital for entrepreneurial endeavors designed to generate revenue that will support their work in the community.
The Harry Sudakoff Foundation Grant Helps Refurnish Friendship Centers
The Friendship Centers has outfitted its activity center in Sarasota with specially-ordered matching café tables and chairs and sturdy easy chairs and coffee tables, courtesy of a recent $42,000 grant from the Harry Sudakoff Foundation. The final delivery of furnishings has arrived, completing the transformation of the main building’s furnishings.
Michael Saunders & Company Foundation Awards Friendship Centers with $1,000 Grant
The Friendship Centers has received a $1,000 grant from the Michael Saunders & Company Foundation (MSC Foundation) to help the Centers continue to provide enrichment programming for older adults at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex in Newtown.
