Wells Fargo Donates $7,500 to Support Friendship Centers’ Aging Mastery Program®

Wells Fargo has awarded $7,500 to the Friendship Centers to help extend the Aging Mastery Program® launched last year. A FREE three week course on Taking the Mystery Out of Finances will be offered Wednesdays, April 13, 20, and 27  from 1- 3 p.m. at Gulf Gate Library, 711 Curtiss Ave., Sarasota, sponsored by The Friendship Centers and the Sarasota County Library System.

Friendship Center for Aging Studies

You Matter, Too! Mindfulness for Caregivers Slated  in Sarasota and Venice
You Matter, Too! is an exciting new 8-week Mindfulness Program for Caregivers providing tools to deal with stress, improve self-care and build resiliency. Offered by the Friendship Centers' Caregiver Resource Centers and Moment Health™, it begins June 6 in Sarasota and and June 7 in Venice. 
Aging Mastery Program Underway at The Friendship Center
Aging Mastery®, a popular five-week course designed to help you create your own path for aging well is underway through June 14  at The Friendship Center in Sarasota. Developed by the National Council on Aging, it provides a wealth of practical information. Interested individuals can register for individual sessions. A Spring Celebration with a Touch of Jazz April 24
The Sarasota Concert Band and The Friendship Centers invite you to ‘A Spring Celebration with a Touch of Jazz’  from 2- 4 pm on Sunday, April 24, at The Friendship Center, 1888 Brother Geenen Way, Sarasota. Tickets, priced at $10, include refreshments, and are available in advance at The Friendship Center,  at the door the day of the concert, or online here. Proceeds benefit the Sarasota Concert Band and The Friendship Center.

Sarasota Concert Band Holiday Concert Dec. 6
