Birds Do it, Bees Do It...and so does Grandma: Straight Talk about Later-Life  Sexuality
Birds do it, Bees do it...and so Does Grandma is a candid, straight-talking series addressing senior sexuality in all its colors —the challenges, the disappointments, and the surprises, as well as the delights and the love stories. Slated Sept 15 -19 at The Friendship Center (1888 Brother Geenen Way) in Sarasota, each of the sessions will be from 10 - 11 a.m. 
The first day of Fall is traditionally National Falls Awareness and Prevention Day. Don't miss programs at The Friendship Centers in Venice Sept. 22, and in Sarasota, Sept. 23, providing helpful information on what you can do avoid a dangerous fall. 
North Sarasota: Join the Conversation Sept.25
The North Sarasota County Caregiver Resource Center Advisory Committee will host "Join the Conversation," an opportunity to meet others who may be helping to care for a friend or loved one, and to learn about support in the community.  It will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at the North Sarasota Library, from 5:30 - 7:15. 

A must for caregivers this six week series helps caregivers reduce personal stress, change negative self talk, communicate needs to others, deal with difficult emotions and cope with life changes.
