'Little Satchmo' Author to Speak for Venice Series
Sharon Folta, author of  Little Satchmo: Living in the Shadow of My Father Louis Daniel Armstrong, will speak at the Venice Friendship Center on Friday, Feb. 27, at 11:30 a.m. for the Venice Speakers’ Series.  Folta will share her experience as the daughter of this jazz legend.
Graduates of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers course offered through the Friendship Centers' Caregiver Resource Centers in Sarasota and Venice have called this six-week program a "life changer." Venice  Friendship Center's Classic Car Show Set for March 21
The third annual Classic Car Show is March 21 this year at the Venice Friendship Center. The show runs from 9:30 - 1 p.m. and will feature an amazing collection of vintage automobiles, along with music, dancing, and food by the Venice High Band Boosters. Download Registration form.
