PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

Caring for your parent, spouse or friend at home is hard work.  It can leave you feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Where do you turn for help?  You turn to The Caregiving Place in Sarasota and Venice, were we provide compassionate care for your loved one and professional support for you.

Our Adult Day Service is the perfect program for someone who is experiencing cognitive or medical issues.  With a staffing ration of 1:6, each individual is assured of personal attention throughout the day. Participants socialize with others, enjoy health lunches and snacks, engage in lively discussions about current events, make art, sing and exercise.

Our Caregiver Resource Center is the place where caregivers can get the help they need for themselves.  We have access to local, state and national resources, many reference materials and a lending library.  Educational programs are also offered, such as our Powerful Tools for Caregivers course.  Support groups meet on a regular basis to ask questions, voice concerns and get new ideas from others.
